Play golf on an 18-hole course a multi-colored cliff overlooking the blue sea of Trancoso. Designed by Dan Blankenship, it is one of the best courses in the country.
This is the perfect place to relax after a match. Located in the center of Trancoso Village, the square is surrounded by many restaurants, inns, bars and stores.
To learn a little more about the local culture, visit Trancoso on January 19 and 20, when the traditional celebration in praise of Saint Sebastian takes place. Driven by the sound of drums, flutes and old indigenous folk songs, it is the region’s major folk festival.
Diving and Fishing at Coqueiros Beach
Near Quadrado Square, this beach is flanked by cliffs and coconut trees. During low tide, the natural pools formed between the beach and the reef are perfect for snorkeling. If you enjoy fishing, be sure to visit the old pier whose ruins are an excellent place to catch bass and mojara.
Trancoso is an excellent option for those who want either to learn golf or improve their game. Facilities include a driving range with 9 sets of greens and bunkers arranged 25 yards from each other, a chipping green to practice all sorts of short shots and a putting green that simulates situations that might happen during the game.
The clear waters and natural pools are perfect for relaxing and spending time with friends and family after a match. It is Trancoso's main beach and one of the busiest in the region, with an infrastructure that includes bars, hotels and kiosks.
Inns Espelho Beach
Located between Trancoso and Caravaí, this is certainly one of the most beautiful beaches in Brazil. In addition to enjoying the view, have snacks and drinks while you sunbathe in comfort on padded lounge chairs provided by the local inns and restaurants.
Swimming at Rio Barra Beach
The Barra River cuts through the sand and flows into the crystal waters of the ocean, making this beach the perfect place to go for a relaxing swim at any time of the day, either in fresh or salt water. It is also considered an excellent fishing spot.
