Capixaba Culinary Delights
The city restaurants excel in regional dishes: a mixture of European, native and african cooking. These flavors united the local fishing trade and gave origin to delicacies you must taste, such as capixaba chowder and capixaba pie, both based on fish and seafood.
Escadaria Maria Ortiz
Previously named the Escadaria do Pelourinho (the Whipping Post Stairway), the name brings back memories of the victory of Espírito Santo over Dutch pirates who tried to conquer the island during the 17th century. The Escadaria Maria Ortiz is located in the center of Vitória.
Galpão das Paneleiras (The Pot Makers Ware House)
Clay pots are a centuries-old tradition in Espírito Santo. They are used in the preparation of typical regional dishes. At the warehouse, it is possible to watch the pots being manufactured, and to sample the culinary delights of Espírito Santo.
São Gonçalo Church
A church in colonial style with baroque features on its facade and altar, with wood carvings painted in gold. The São Gonçalo Church was declared a historic site by the Institute of Historical and Artistic Heritage (Iphan) in 1948.
The Parque Moscoso is one of the most popular spots among Vitória residents. Visitors and residents make use of the location for walks and to watch cultural performances in the acoustic shell.

Marlin Fishing Mecca
The coast of Vitória is one of the main places in the world to fish two species highly appreciated by fishermen: the Blue and White Marlin. This attracts both amateur and professional fisherman from around the world. Follow the International Ocean Fishing Championship, which further adds excitement to the area.
On the extensive Camburi Beach, you can walk on the sand and watch the blue-green sea; on the busy, well-structured boardwalk you can taste delicacies and drinks from the kiosks; bike ride on the bike path; or go for rides on boats.
Captivating palms will receive you as you arrive at Jurema Curve. It is a great option to spend the day sunbathing and take advantage of the great structure of the kiosks strategically located on the sand so you can taste the capixaba cuisine without taking your eyes off the sea.
Hidden among the stones on the Frade Island, this small beach is the ideal place to flee from the action, being you have to take a little walk to get there. Its calm waters are just right for a swim and are quite secure. The shadows of the castanheiras invading the sand complete the visual effect.
