To learn more about the indigenous culture, you cannot miss the Museu Rondon de Etnologia e Arqueologia (Ethnology and Archeology Rondon Museum). Located in Cuiabá, more specific at the Universidade Federal do Mato Grosso (Federal University of Mato Grosso - UFMT), the site is rich in information and great for a family outing.
The museum, launched in 1972, maintains one of the largest collections in the country about indigenous culture and gathers more than 16 thousand publications about the theme. The audiovisual archive includes photos and films about rituals and other activities of various indigenous tribes as well as an exhibition of various adornments and tools used daily by them.
The site has been recently remodeled, making the environment even more pleasant, with two exhibition halls, an auditorium for 100 people, recreation area and accessibility for people with disabilities throughout its structure.
