And since the cupuaçu fruit is so common in the region, you must try some cupuaçu pie. All these delicacies can be purchased at the Central Market, where you will also find regional products, local handicrafts, typical food, and natural home remedies. 

The capital of Rondonia is also a great place to enjoy some music and learn typical local dances. You should check out the traditional Arraial Flor do Maracujá Festival, which usually takes place between the months of June and July. During the festivities, everyone can enjoy some Brazilian square dancing and boi-bumbá performances, two great representations of Brazilian folklore.
